Celebrate a baby’s birth, christening or baptism, first birthday—or any special occasion—with a bib. Guests can sign and decorate it for memories that last far beyond the day.
1.
Babies always drool and slobber! Why not make several bibs for everyday and one as a keepsake gift for a special day?
2.
Choose baby-sized, 50/50 cotton/polyester or 100% cotton T-shirts. Ask an adult to help you use Crayola® Scissors to cut away the sides and sleeves. Leave plenty of fabric so you have a bib surrounding the neck ring. For fancy bibs, cut curves or designs in the edges.
3.
Use Crayola Fabric Markers to decorate each bib. You could trace around baby’ s hand and record the date. Guests could sign and decorate the bib, too. Crayola® Fabric Markers stain clothing and surfaces, CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED.
4.
Ask an adult to heat set the color so the bib can be laundered. Set an iron on cotton and iron on the reverse side with a back and forth motion for 4 minutes. Or place the bib in a dryer for 30 minutes on the hottest setting.
5.
Be sure to take lots of pictures!
