1.
With an adult, choose a large, outdoor paved area that is clean, safe, and free from traffic.
2.
Use your Chalk ‘n Roll to draw two wide end zones. Make them a good throwing distance away from each other, based on the children’s skill levels.
3.
Draw a "bench" area where players who are "out" can wait safely.
4.
Choose two players to be throwers, one to stand in each end zone. The remaining players stand at one end zone next to a thrower.
5.
Throwers begin to toss the ball back and forth to each other. One at a time, players attempt to run to the opposite end zone.
6.
Throwers try to tag the runner out by throwing the ball to hit the runner from the waist down. Players who are out sit on the bench.
7.
Play continues with safe runners running back the other way. The last two safe runners become the new throwers.
