To create your own rings, decorate short lengths of cotton rope with Fabric Markers. Make at least two for each player. Heat set the rope according to package instructions. Use duct tape to hold the ends together.

With an adult, choose an outdoor paved area that is clean, safe, and free from traffic.

Use Sidewalk Chalk to draw at least five colorful target areas. Mark point values for each area. Draw a throw line a good tossing distance away from the targets. Create a scorecard area to keep track of points.

Fill empty bottles with sand. Place one in each target area.
5.
Decide how many rounds to play. Players stand at the throw line with their rings. Players, in turn, throw all their rings, hoping to ring the targets.
6.
After a player throws, points for ringers are counted. Remove rings from the targets. Play continues until all players have thrown.
7.
Winner is player with most points when all rounds are played.
